Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) is a Swiss regional bank, founded in 1899 and based in Basel. It provides banking services such as mortgages, investment advisory, and digital banking for both private and business customers. BKB is known for its strong local presence and focus on sustainability​

CHALLENGE

As every bank, Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) regularly faces the challenge of adapting its strategy in response to shifting markets and regulations. The hardest part is ensuring that thousands of employees fully understand why the course is changing and where the new direction leads. 

SOLUTION

I worked with Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) to develop a Core Story that aligned leadership, stakeholders, and employees on the new strategy. Through targeted workshops, departments shared insights on implementation, ensuring all employees understood the direction and their role, while strengthening ownership of the strategy.

CLIENT

Impact Hub Bern is a coworking and innovation space that supports entrepreneurs and organizations focused on social and environmental change. Offering workspaces, consulting, and programs in areas like the circular economy and sustainable development, it fosters collaboration and impact-driven solutions.

CHALLENGE

The company’s organic growth led to an increasingly diverse range of products and value streams, causing its focus to become diffuse. Customers struggled to identify the core value, resulting in brand confusion. This lack of clarity also hindered sustained revenue growth.

SOLUTION

In a Core Story and Purpose Workshop, we refined the company’s essence and aligned it with the new strategic direction. From this, I crafted a clear communication architecture to highlight the value propositions for customers. This sharpened focus enhanced brand perception and helped the strategy launch successfully, leading to financial growth.

CLIENT

ROCK YOUR LIFE! Schweiz, founded in 2013, connects disadvantaged youth with mentors to support their transition into vocational training. By fostering self-confidence and social skills, the organization helps young people unlock their potential and successfully navigate their future career paths.

CHALLENGE

The growth of ROCK YOUR LIFE! Schweiz resulted in a variety of unclear value streams and target audiences. Additionally, a rapidly changing demographic landscape and global challenges, such as the rise in migration flows, increasingly complicated the organization's operations, making it harder to effectively align its services with evolving needs.

SOLUTION

The new strategy was anchored in a Core Story Workshop and a revised communication architecture to refocus value propositions. Through a Stakeholder Mapping Workshop, key value streams were identified, and resources were reallocated, ensuring better alignment with target audiences and successful adaptation to shifting challenges.
